Product Update: September 2025 — Net Worth Dashboard, Manual Accounts, Weekly Summaries, and More

📊 Your Joint Net Worth, All in One Place

You can now see your total net worth in a single, clean dashboard. Track your assets, debts, and overall progress: whether you're saving for a big goal, paying off loans, or simply staying in sync on where you stand financially.

Your Net Worth Dashboard updates automatically when your linked accounts refresh, and manual accounts (more on that below) are included too.

To explore your net worth:

Log in, and select Net Worth tab.

🏡 Add Your Home, Car, or Other Assets

Not all assets live in a bank account. You can now add manual accounts to JoyFi, including Real Estate, Vehicles or any other account you'd like to track, so your net worth reflects everything you've worked hard to build. You also have the ability to edit these accounts over time as values change, ensuring your net worth always has the most accurate up-to-date picture of your joint wealth.

Adding them is simple:

1. Go to Accounts
2. Click Add New Account
3. Choose Real Estate, Vehicle or Other Account
4. Enter the details, and you're set

To edit manual accounts:

✉️ Weekly Summary Emails

You’ll now get a weekly snapshot of your finances delivered straight to your inbox. Each summary includes:

• Your current net worth
• Your real-time cashflow
• Any major account changes or big transactions

It’s the fastest way to check in with your partner without logging in or holding a formal "money meeting".

🆕 Stay Up to Date with the New "What’s New" Window

We just added a "What’s New" window to JoyFi so you'll never miss an update. The next time you log in, if there's a feature you haven't seen yet, you'll get a quick overview right inside the app.

This makes it easy to:

• See the latest features without having to check email or the blog
• Understand how each update helps you manage money together
• Explore new functionality the moment it's available to you

• Cleaner mobile experience: The Accounts and Transactions views on mobile are now easier to scan so you can quickly check balances and recent activity while on the go.
• Lightweight account assignment on mobile: You can now assign accounts to your plan directly from mobile without switching to desktop.
• More helpful getting started checklist: Checklist items are now clickable so you can jump right to what you need, and inviting your partner is now part of the checklist to help you get set up faster.
